{"id":25,"date":"2011-08-29T08:40:31","date_gmt":"2011-08-29T16:40:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gahealthguide.wordpress.com\/?p=25"},"modified":"2011-08-29T08:40:31","modified_gmt":"2011-08-29T16:40:31","slug":"gabriel-a-brief-history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devinephysiques.com\/blog\/2011\/08\/29\/gabriel-a-brief-history\/","title":{"rendered":"Gabriel &#8212; A Brief History"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A long time ago, in a city not so far away, I grew up a &#8220;healthy&#8221; individual.\u00a0 By &#8220;healthy,&#8221; I mean I had a more than healthy appetite, and had some of the most unhealthy habits imaginable.\u00a0 I would sometimes wonder why it was I was overweight, but this was usually pondered over a 2800 calorie meal with an alcoholic beverage on the side.<\/p>\n<p>And then, I watched <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0479143\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rocky Balboa<\/a>, and that changed everything&#8211;\u00a0 I had decided that, if Sylvester Stallone could get into shape, I can too!\u00a0 After getting in shape through a combination of extreme caloric restriction and exercise, I would eventually gain all of the weight back.\u00a0 Uncomfortable at 6 feet tall, 235 pounds, and (at the time) recently unemployed, I decided to permanently change my life.\u00a0 I began working out 6 days a week, and at this point in my life (2.25 years ago), had no idea about proper nutrition or training habits.\u00a0 With no regard to my LBM (Lean Body Mass, a.k.a.
